A little about what I do
I'm Sushmitha, a Strategic Brand & Product Designer with 3.5+ years of experience creating digital products and building brands. I believe in designing to solve problems, with intent behind every decision. For me, good design starts with understanding the why and finding the right way to bring an idea to life.
My work spans product design, UI/UX and brand strategy, across industries including AI, SaaS, logistics, manufacturing and HR tech. I've worked on everything from shaping product experiences and designing complex interfaces to building brands and creating visual identities from the ground up.
A Little Beyond Design
But my work doesn't stop at the screen. I've also created social media assets, marketing collateral, presentations, print materials, event booths and more, helping brands carry their identity across every touchpoint. I enjoy exploring different ways to bring ideas to life, whether that's through 3D, illustration or whatever creative medium the idea calls for.
Away from my screen, you'll probably find me with a paintbrush in hand, a book I'm halfway through, or spending time with my cats. Art has always been a big part of my life, and I love having the freedom to explore it in my own time.

Before pixels, there were paintbrushes.
I've been making things for as long as I can remember. Long before Figma, there were sketchbooks, paintbrushes and probably a lot of paint stains!
I've always been the kind of person who wants to try every medium at least once. Pencil, watercolour, acrylic, poster, oil... if it can be painted on, chances are I've tried it. Canvas, paper, wood, you name it.
Sometimes I come up with something of my own. Other times, I pick a painting by an artist I admire and try to recreate it. Not just for the finished piece, but to figure out how they got there. The colours, the brushstrokes, the little details. There's always something to learn.
That curiosity has followed me into product design. I still love experimenting, looking at things from different angles and finding creative ways to solve a problem. Turns out, all those hours with a paintbrush weren't too far removed from what I do today. Just a different kind of canvas!
